Summer Projects

Now that Johanna is so predictable with naps, etc., I have loved getting back into some of my hobbies. I try to invite Caroline to help on some occasions which lasts for about 5 minutes until she's off and running.

Here are the latest booties I made for Bobby's boss's baby. These are my Wool felt booties which I made larger than a lot of the booties I've made in the past. (Sorry to those of you who got really small booties!)

I've missed doing art over the years. I was commissioned to do a painting for a friend of her husband's favorite building (one of Frank Lloyd Wright's last buildings) the Gammage Building.

I've recently realized that it is more likely that I'll do art while there are kids trying to dip their fingers in my paint water if I try smaller canvas'.

So here are two small pieces I did for some recent wedding gifts: one of Budapest at Night (the bride served her mission there.)

The next, the Washington DC temple at night (I wanted so badly to stick to using the bride and grooms wedding colors- black, white, red. So I did the temple at night with its' famous Christmas lights.)
