When I was pregnant, the doctors would get frustrated that my twins were always facing each other in the womb and consistently following each other whether head down or breech. They could never accurately check their anatomy or get the stats they needed.
In the NICU early this week, their breathing alarms
both went off for the first and only time and were within 5 minutes of each other, although a room apart from each other. They keep amazing the nurses with consistencies between the two of them, with feedings, progression, etc.
Today, though, these babies
finally got to feel each other's presence which, I am positive, they feel is lacking now. All I can say, is once they're home, they will have each other within arm's reach--always.

They're beautiful! Congrats to all of you! And I'm glad you didn't have to be in the hospital for months and months!

Aaaaah! I'm so happy every time I check back here and see a new post! It's so great that you've been providing plenty of new fodder for my OBSESSION. :) They are SO unbelievably cute! I just can't get over them!

Incredible, Nicole. :) They are just beautiful. I can't believe how amazing you look! How do you do it? :) We are so grateful for the many blessings that your family has right now! :)
I'm so happy you are all doing well- and you are all looking so great! Congratulations!
They are looking so good!!! Isn't it amazing how connected twins are (especially the identical ones) I am sure the NICU ladies will tell you that they have noticed it too!
Thanks for the updates...it makes me so happy to check and see new pictures and news! They are incredible girls! They were sent together for a reason. They need each other.
my love and friendship, Lorrie
I'm so excited for you! They are adorable! I can't believe their hair, love it!
Congratulations. I'm glad mom and babies are doing well. Nicole take the time when they are in the nicu to get some rest. When we have little tinies born at our hopspital we always suggest to the parents to take pictures of them with things so when they get bigger they can see how little they were. My favorites are dad's hands and dollar bills.
Congrats Their Beautiful. You are doing amazing, I can only imagine the difficulty of not being able to bond with them as often as you would like. Before long they'll be 4 like my twins and constantly wanting to sit on your lap together even if they do not fit. Enjoy the sleep!
