In the Trenches

Ahhhh... our first outing ever, all six of us. It was quick, complicated, but we can now say we've done it. It took more time getting everyone out of the car, big kids into strollers and miniature people into slings then the brisk walk at the outdoor Army Heritage Museum. Like Bobby said, "We won't try that again until the twins are 6 months old!"

Don't worry, he's kidding.

Little Annabelle enjoying the hot weather, snuggled close to Mommy in her sling.

DON'T EVEN tell me that the "thing" around Bobby's waste has Ainsleigh in it!!!! I thought it was some kind of diaper bag...oh my goodness too funny...
Thanks for sharing the event. Believe me, it only gets better each time...you'll be old pros before ya know it!

Aw, the Army Heritage Trail! Many fond memories! I am so impressed that you all got out together. And that everybody looked so great with the fashionable slings and outfits! :)

Congratulations on getting out together, it is HUGE! Keep doing it, if anything it builds great memmories for the girls and for you and Bobby. I couldn't believe that it was a little twin in the sling around bobby. Like Lorrie said, it does get easier. I started keeping diapers, clothes, wipes, anything and everything the twins would need in an emergency in the car so I didn't have to pack everything into a diaper bag each time we left the house. I do remember and miss the stroller days.

Oh wow they have HAIR! Neither of my boys really had hair when they were born...I guess that's what happens when you and your husband were blond as babies!
